In the red room, the floors bend backwards

Rooted in the fog of shoegaze, dreampop and postpunk, Mannequin Flowers are Isadora (vocals/guitar), Luca (guitar), Luci (bass) and Huw (drums). Their music evokes a sense of danger and unpredictability. Lyrically, they challenge conventional narratives through thought-provoking content on love, anxiety, and modernity.

Formed out of a shared fixation on 90s shoegaze and 70s post-punk, their 2024 singles Heartbeat and Drunken Carousel earned praise from Earmilk, The Big Takeover, Amazing Radio and Broken 8 Records, with airplay on independent stations across the UK and US. In 2025, Validation and Six Words expanded their sound with darker post-punk textures with continued support from Get in Her Ears and independent radio across the UK and US.
